Ned has over 30 years drumming experience, and teaching experience with all ages through his other role as an instructor at Asia Pacific Tang Soo Do.

Lessons are $35.00 for 30 minutes, payable by cash or bank transfer.
Current available timeslots are:
Tuesdays 5:00pm, 5:30pm & 6:00pm
Fridays 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm & 6:00pm
Weekends and other times may be available - please contact me to discuss.

Classes are held at Ned's home studio, where students will learn on a professional quality acoustic drum kit.
For younger students, parents are welcome to stay during the lessons.
Each lesson runs for 30 minutes, once a week, with one student at a time. This ensures undistracted, high-quality tuition in a focused environment.
Lessons are beginner-friendly, tailored to each student’s pace and ability, and designed to build confidence, skill, and a love of drumming.

Do I need a drum kit?
Do I need a drum kit?
No. Initially, you can get away with having just a practice pad and a pair of sticks, however you will eventually get to the point where a drum kit will be essential. I can help guide you on suitable options for your budget.

Yes! All lessons are held at a property in Morphett Vale, where both an acoustic drum kit and an electronic drum kit are available.
What do I need to get started?
What do I need to get started?
A willingness to learn! To enable you to practice between lessons, I recommend purchasing a practice pad and a pair of sticks, preferably 5A. For lessons, you'll need to bring your sticks and a folder.
How often do I need to practice?
How often do I need to practice?
I recommend practicing at least 10 to 15 minutes a day, at least 4 days a week. By all means, practice more than that if you like, but you don't need to have 3 spare hours every day set aside for practice in order to progress your drumming skills.
